Last Night's Dream

Once every so often a dream comes that may be symbolic of things in one's life. Then, a dream may come that signifies things to come or yet which may be, perhaps a reflection or a warning. It may be that type of a dream that enveloped me last night. In my dream the Director of the Orlando House of Prayer (OHOP), Carlos Sarmiento was praying for people, seeming as it was to be imparting to them boldness, gifts and inner strength. Then as things continued, it started. Persecution. A young woman I had been speaking to in the dream was killed by officially sanctioned violence. I was not sure whether the threat came from inside our country or from without or was a combination of factors, but it did seem like it was violent persecution primarily aimed at Christians. I have had many significant dreams, but none quite like this one. One thing I do know is that we are not to fear persecution, but we should be prepared should it come to our nation.
