Pinnacle

Often I find myself
Standing on the pinnacle
Of my earthly temple

Wanting yet another
Token of assurance
That You still are with me

Thrust myself off the temple
Another compromising situation
Demanding evidence
That You are currently involved
And about this life you really care

Guess that's why I always
Cast another dare...

So, in my daily allegations
Lord, I'm in trouble
Can you help me, again?
